1811			ஜோன் ஸ்டீவன்ஸ் கண்டுபிடித்த ஜூலியானா என்ற முதலாவது நீராவிப் படகுக் கப்பலின் சேவை நியூ யோர்க்கிற்கும் நியூ ஜேர்சிக்கு இடையில் ஆரம்பிக்கப்பட்டது.
1852			ஆஸ்திரேலியாவின் மிகப் பழமையான சிட்னி பல்கலைக்கழகம் ஆரம்பிக்கப்பட்டது.
1941			மக்கெடோனியாவில் தேசிய விடுதலைப் போர் ஆரம்பமானது.
1944			துவீனிய மக்கள் குடியரசு சோவியத் ஒன்றியத்துடன் இணைந்தது.
