பிறப்புகள்
1940		எஸ். ஆர். ஸ்ரீனிவாச வரதன், ஏபெல் பரிசு  (Abel Prize) பெற்ற கணித இயலர். சதமங்கலம் ரவி ஸ்ரீனிவாஸ வரதன் (பிறப்பு: ஜனவரி 2, 1940) கணிதத்திலும் புள்ளியியலிலும் நிகழ்தகவுக் கோட்பாட்டில் தற்காலத்தில் சிறப்பு பெற்று மதிப்பு மிக்க ஏபெல் பரிசை, 2007ம் ஆண்டுக்காகப் பெற்ற, கணித இயலர். நியூ யார்க்கிலுள்ள கொராண்ட் கணிதவியல் கழகத்தில் ஃப்ராங்க் ஜே கௌல்ட் கணிதவியற் பேராசிரியராக இருக்கிறார்
