1874	இலங்கையின் சட்டசபையின் தமிழ்ப் பிரதிநிதி முத்து குமாரசுவாமி இங்கிலாந்தில் சேர் பட்டம் அளித்துக் கௌரவிக்கப்பட்டார்.
1961	நிக்கராகுவாவில் சன்டினீஸ்டா தேசிய விடுதலை முன்னணி அமைக்கப்பட்டது.
