1587	வட கரோலினாவின் ரோனோக் தீவில் ஆங்கிலேயர்களின் இரண்டாவது தொகுதி குடியேற்றவாதிகள் வந்திறங்கினர்.
1933	வைலி போஸ்ட் 15,596 மைல்களை 7 நாட்கள், 18 மணி, 45 நிமிடங்களில் உலகைக் கடந்து தனியே உலகைச் சுற்றி வந்த முதல் மனிதன் என்ற பெருமையைப் பெற்றார்.
1944	போலந்தின் தேசிய விடுதலைக்கான குழு நாட்டில் சீர்திருத்தங்களையும், நாசிகளுக்கெதிரான போரை முன்னெடுத்துச் செல்லவும், தொழிற்சாலைகளை தேசிய மயமாக்கும் திட்டத்தையும் அறிவித்தது. போலந்தில் கம்யூனிச ஆட்சி ஆரம்பமானது.
