1201	லாத்வியாவின் ரீகா நகரம் அமைக்கப்பட்டது.
1868	பிரெஞ்சு வானியல் நிபுணர் பியேர் ஜான்சென் சூரிய கிரகணத்தை ஆராயும்போது ஹீலியம் என்ற தனிமத்தைக் கண்டுபிடித்தார்.
1877	செவ்வாய்க் கோளின் ஃபோபோஸ் கண்டுபிடிக்கப்பட்டது.
1950	பெல்ஜியம் கம்யூனிஸ்ட் கட்சியின் தலைவர் ஜூலியன் லாஹூட் படுகொலை செய்யப்பட்டார்.
1958	விளாடிமீர் நபகோவ் எழுதிய லொலிட்டா (Lolita) என்ற புதினம் அமெரிக்காவில் வெளியிடப்பட்டது.
