1642			இங்கிலாந்து நாடாளுமன்றம் லண்டன் நாடக அரங்குகள் அனைத்தையும் மூடிவிட உத்தரவிட்டது.
1666			லண்டனில் இடம்பெற்ற பெருந்தீயினால் மூன்று நாட்களில் புனித போல் தேவாலயம் உட்பட 10,000 கட்டடங்கள் அழிந்தன.
1752			ஐக்கிய இராச்சியத்தில் கிரிகோரியன் நாட்காட்டி அறிமுகப்படுத்தப்பட்டது.
1951			எஸ். டபிள்யூ. ஆர். டி. பண்டாரநாயக்கா இலங்கை சுதந்திரக் கட்சியை உருவாக்கினார்.
