1567	முதலாம் ஜேம்ஸ் ஸ்கொட்லாந்தின் மன்னனாக முடிசூடினான்.
1830	பிரான்சின் பத்தாம் சார்ல்ஸ் முடி துறந்தான்.
1851	15 யுனோமியா என்ற சிறுகோள் கண்டுபிடிக்கப்பட்டது.
1907	சேர் பேடன் பவல் இங்கிலாந்தில் சாரணர் இயக்க முகாம் ஒன்றைத் திறந்து வைத்தார். இதுவே சாரணர் இயக்கத்தை ஆரம்பிக்க முதற் படியாக இருந்தது.
1921	ஹிட்லர் ஜேர்மன் தேசிய சோசலிச தொழிலாளர் கட்சியின் தலைவரானார்.
1944	இலங்கை விஞ்ஞான முன்னேற்றச் சங்கம் ஆரம்பிக்கப்பட்டது.
1948	இரண்டாம் உலகப் போர் காரணமாக இடைநிறுத்தி வைக்கப்பட்டிருந்த ஒலிம்பிக் விளையாட்டுக்கள் மீண்டும் லண்டனில் ஆரம்பமாகின.
