1876 - இந்தியாவுக்கும் இலங்கைக்கும் இடையே தொடருந்து சேவையை ஆரம்பிப்பதற்கான முடிவு பிரித்தானிய அரசரால் எடுக்கப்பட்டது. 1905 - நோர்வே, சுவீடனிடம் இருந்து விடுதலை அடைந்தது. 1947 - அமெரிக்க செனட் சபை உறுப்பினர் ஹிலாரி கிளிண்டன் பிறந்த தினம்  1947 - காஷ்மீர் மகாராஜா இந்தியாவுடன் காஷ்மீரை இணைக்கச் சம்மதித்தார். 1955 - ஆஸ்திரியா தேசிய தினம்  1977 - பெரியம்மை நோய் தாக்கிய கடைசி நோயாளி சோமாலியாவில் அடையாளம் காணப்பட்டார். உலக சுகாதார அமைப்பு இந்நாளை பெரியம்மையின் கடைசி நாளாக அறிவித்தது. 1984 - "பேபி ஃபே" (Baby Fae) பபூன் என்ற மனிதக் குரங்கிலிருந்து இருதய மாற்றைப் பெற்று 21 நாட்கள் உயிர் வாழ்ந்தது. 1994 - ஜோர்டான் மற்றும் இஸ்ரேல் அமைதி ஒப்பந்தத்தில் கையெழுத்திட்டன 2001 - ஐக்கிய அமெரிக்கா, அமெரிக்க தேசப் பற்று சட்டத்தை நிறைவேற்றியது.
