          The ignorant two sores of disgrace.
 

Meaning

கண்ணில்லாவிடிலும் அவர் கற்றவராக இருப்பின் கண்ணுடையவராகவே கருதப்படுவார்.

கல்லாதவருக்குக் கண் இருப்பினும் அது புண் என்றே கருதப்படும். 

The learned are said to have eyes, but the unlearned have (merely) two sores in their face. 

தினம் ஒரு பழமொழி

ஆடு நனைகிறது என்று ஓநாய் அழுகிறதாம்

The wolf cried when the sheep got drenched in rain.

Meaning

Said to people who want to destroy but still make you believe they care for you.

" Crocodiles tears."

" Crows bewail the dead sheep and then eat them."

" Beware of the geese when the fox preaches"

தினம் ஒரு சொல்:

உண்டாட்டம் (பெ). களியாட்டம், விளையாட்டு – festivity, revelry.
