Save Energy- Power to Power up An awareness program and Dances of India Festival Jan 28-28, 2012,

On this Energy Conservation day, we are pleased to announce our next mega program " Save Energy - Power to Power up"  An awareness program to save energy resources for the better future of India and DANCES OF INDIA FESTIVAL.
 
Fourth of its series our "India to Indians" program is planned on January 28-29, 2012 at The Great India Place Mall" Noida. 
 
Two days of mega event will have nearly 200 children from various Dance & Music  schools performing to the theme. As you are aware Avvai Tamil Sangam works for promoting as well as preserving India's Rich culture and especially the folk culture of India. In out last three years we have promoted the folk dances of Tamilnadu, Rajasthan, Kerala, Punjab & Hariyana This year our dance festival has the focus on Odissa as a theme state and in addition to the classical & folk dances of other parts of India, Special mention will be on the dances of Odissa.
 
Similarly, we also use the same platform to create a social awareness to the citizen of India on various subjects . In the previous years we did awareness campaign on ORGAN DONATION, PLANT A TREE AND PLAN THE FUTURE (CREATING GREENS)  and this year we have a special theme of "SAVE ENERGY".
While saying " SAVE ENERGY" we say not only Oil, gas and Electricity we also say saving the earth's energy by avoiding use of Non degradable components, saving health by eating right food and doing right exercises, Saving money which is main source of energy for a better and smooth life. 
 
In addition we also have plans to have a "Share the Car" stall where in those who want to go in for car pooling can register and get connected to like minded people.
 
Attending the event will not only give you an opportunity to witness the great dances of India but also to contribute a small amount of your service to the nation by taking an oath to save energy and be committed to it.
