Today in History:
1869 - Income Tax was imposed. On the same day New Indian Divorce Act came into operation.
1912- The imperial capital of India was moved from Calcutta to Old New Delhi and the Province of Delhi was declared by a proclamation
1935 - The Reserve Bank of India was established as a Central Bank and the job of issuing notes was entrusted to this bank.
1936 - Orissa Formerly known as Kalinga or Utkal became a state in India.
1957 - Postage stamps and sale of postal stationary was introduced as per decimal coinage system and Rupee was established to Hundred Naya Paisa.
1973 - Project Tiger, a tiger conservation project, is launched in the Corbett National Park, India.
2004 - Google introduces its Gmail product to the public. The launch is met with scepticism on account of the launch date.

Meaning :
தீயினால் சுட்டெரிப்பது போன்ற துன்பங்களை ஒருவன் தொடர்ந்து செய்தாலும் அதற்காக வருந்தி அவன் உறவு கொள்ள வரும்போது சினங்கொள்ளாமல் இருப்பதே நல்லது.
